Job Title: Data Migration Consultant

What will you be doing?
As a Data Migration Consultant, you will support SAP data migration projects by working closely with business and technical teams to understand data requirements, prepare migration strategies, and execute data migration activities. You will be involved in data extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation, and loading using tools such as Syniti ADMM and SAP Data Services (BODS). The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in SAP data migration projects and a good understanding of ETL processes, data quality, and SAP modules.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and support ETL processes using Syniti ADMM/SAP Data Services (BODS).
• Analyze source and target data structures for migration activities.
• Perform data mapping, transformation, cleansing, and validation.
• Support data load execution, reconciliation, and issue resolution.
• Work with functional and business teams to gather migration requirements.
• Prepare technical documentation such as mapping sheets and load reports.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency during migration cycles.
• Participate in testing and defect resolution activities.
Required Skills and Experience:
• 3–5 years of experience in SAP Data Migration projects.
• Hands-on experience with Syniti ADMM, SAP Data Services (BODS), Migration Cockpit, IDOCs, BAPIs, or LSMW.
• Good understanding of ETL concepts, SQL, and data quality processes.
• Basic techno-functional knowledge in SAP modules such as MM, SD, PP, PM, or FICO.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder interaction skills.
• Experience working in SAP S/4HANA migration projects is an added advantage.
