Junior CRM Manager

The Junior CRM Manager runs CRM execution day to day; keeps customer data clean and segmented, builds and ships lifecycle campaigns, and produces the recurring reports the team works from. The role sits in Product under the CRM & Analytics stream and reports to the Senior CRM Manager.

Core responsibilities

  • Keep customer data clean, deduplicated and correctly segmented by behavior, demographics and lifecycle stage.
  • Maintain CRM platform configuration day to day under the Senior CRM Manager's direction: fields, lists, templates, audiences.
  • Build and ship lifecycle campaigns to the brief: onboarding, renewal and win-back.
  • Track the agreed CRM KPIs and flag movements in them early, with a first read on what caused them.
  • Support data-driven decisions by preparing the analysis Product, Marketing and CRM ask for.

Day-to-day responsibilities

  • Collect, clean and validate customer data from internal and external sources before it reaches the CRM.
  • Execute CRM campaigns and customer messaging: build the audience, set up the send, QA it, schedule it, report on it.
  • Set up engagement channels and keep templates, links and tracking working.
  • Configure and test automation inside the CRM: triggers, sequences and scoring, to spec.
  • Prepare recurring weekly and monthly CRM reports and keep the dashboards current.
  • Run exploratory analysis to identify trends and patterns, and write up what you find in plain language.
  • Respond to and resolve customer queries and complaints tied to CRM touchpoints, and escalate the ones that point to a broken journey.

Out of scope

  • Platform strategy, data model design and lifecycle strategy — set by the Senior CRM Manager.
  • KPI definition and target setting with leadership stakeholders.
  • General business intelligence and analytics work unrelated to customer relationship data, which sits with Analytics.

What we are looking for

Required
  • 1–3 years in CRM, lifecycle marketing, marketing operations or a data-facing analyst role.
  • Hands-on with at least one CRM or engagement platform, or a demonstrated ability to learn one quickly.
  • Working SQL and spreadsheet skills: you can pull a list, check it and spot when the numbers look wrong.
  • Care for data hygiene, and the patience to QA a campaign before it goes out.
  • Clear written communication for reports read by people who are not technical.
  • HTML or Liquid for email templates.
  • Exposure to BI tools such as Looker, Tableau or Power BI.
  • Python or R for exploratory analysis.
